FMCG supply-chain evaluation
Completed an independent evaluation for a leading FMCG organisation, comparing the cost and operational performance of road and rail. The review considered connections with ports and intermodal terminals, as well as reverse-logistics requirements for shipping containers.
Air-freight gateway planning
Scoped the brownfield expansion requirements of a major international express-freight carrier. The assignment included:
Forecasting current and future capacity requirements.
Assessing parcel-sortation and warehouse systems.

Supported a NSW container-transport operator experiencing growth and site-capacity constraints. We helped identify requirements, develop the business justification and plan the procurement and development of a new greenfield operating site.
Food importer and exporter
Completed a supply-chain and logistics evaluation for a regional food producer, assessing the relative commercial and operational benefits of road and rail transport.
Complex mining supply chain
Mapped and reviewed the international supply chain for a rare-earth oxide mining operation. The proposed multimodal solution incorporated:

Prepared independent advice for a road-transport industry association concerning the Port Botany Landside Improvement Strategy regulatory framework and its operational implications.
Empty-container supply-chain review
Scoped and delivered a review of the NSW empty-container supply chain, identifying approximately $100 million in industry inefficiencies and developing recommendations for improvement.
Freight and ports strategy
Contributed to the development and implementation of the NSW Freight & Ports Plan 2018–2023, which established 130 initiatives covering infrastructure, regulation, technology, network efficiency and industry performance.
